Designed for DIY Bait Makers

  • Optimized for both FDM and resin 3D printers, the Swimmin’ Frog mold includes:
    • A detailed open-pour mold
    • A matching mold positive master for casting silicone molds

This gives you full control—whether you're printing molds directly or casting your own from silicone. Perfect for customizing blends, colors, and bait performance to suit your local waters and target species.

Realistic Design, Proven Performance

Measuring 3.5 inches, this frog lure mold features:

  • 3D-sculpted eyes
  • Realistic skin texturing
  • Streamlined design for clean pours

These details do more than just look good—they mimic the movement and appearance of a live frog, helping you trigger aggressive strikes from bass and other predator fish.

Easy to Use—Even for Beginners

Rated 2/10 in difficulty, this mold is highly approachable, even for those new to making soft plastic lures. Just heat your plastisol, pour with care, and watch your bait lineup grow.

The mold’s cavity design supports consistent, high-quality results, whether you’re experimenting with color layering or running bulk batches of frogs for your next trip.

3D Printing Instructions

  • To ensure optimal mold performance and longevity, follow these specs:
    • Layer Height: 0.10mm–0.20mm
    • Wall Shells: Minimum 10, ideally 12
    • Infill Pattern: Gyroid
    • Infill Density: 25%
    • Supports: Not required

Note: If your slicer prompts for supports, decline. The software is trying to support the label on the mold bottom—this area bridges cleanly without issue.

Thicker shells improve thermal resistance during hot plastisol pours, and gyroid infill adds uniform structural strength across all dimensions.
